Delivered through a web-based portal, the Easier Energy Efficiency Eligibility Tool uses two HUD data sets, Low- and Moderate-Income Summary Data (LMISD), Qualified Census Tract (QCT) data, and an Opportunity Zone to quickly identify and certify income-eligible households, reducing delays in the income verification process.
This subscription based platform can be customized to utility needs and preferences.
The Map Tool pinpoints the user’s location (With Permission) to determine whether a household falls within the LMISD, QCT, Utility Service Zones and Opportunity Zones. Simply click on a household to see if it qualifies for the Utility. Use the legend to toggle requirements on or off for a more customized experience.
Users can also manually type in an address to check if a household is located within the LMISD, QCT, or Utility Service Zones. Customize the qualifications further by utilizing the Suggested Energy Efficiency Implemented Measures selections.
If an address qualifies, a certificate will be automatically generated. It can be sent to the user’s email on file or downloaded directly to their device.

In the History Tab, users can view all previously run reports, including dates, qualification status, and approval certificates. Use the search or filter tools for fast and easy lookups.
The Dashboard provides quick access to the Map Tool, a snapshot of recent reports, and customizable statistics based on the user’s previous activity.
