TEPRI Releases Regional Reports from 2023 Community Voices in Energy Survey

'Tis the Season for Energy Insights

As we embrace the holiday spirit, we are excited to unveil a special gift just in time for the festive season!

TEPRI’s CVES regional reports speak to the lived energy experiences of nearly 7,000 respondents who contend with low incomes across Texas. The survey findings shed light on the respondent’s priorities around affordability, reliability, and clean energy. From the “High Plains” in Region 1, to the “Capital” in Region 7, and to the “Upper Rio Grande” in Region 13, the reports delve into the details of each region.

Imagine each of the 13 reports as windows into the energy needs, challenges, and perspectives of people that make up the communities we all serve. We hope they inform your work in energy equity and set the stage for more inquiries into important areas that better engage households that contend with low incomes during the clean energy transition.

CVES stands as the cornerstone of TEPRI’s community-engaged research, which allows us to better address people’s interest in areas like energy assistance, resilience hubs, and democratizing clean energy options for all.
